Dr. Changs research interest is pathological changes of Alzheimers disease (AD) and related dementias. His recent work focuses on how depression leads to pathological dementia and even AD. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and 14 book chapters in these areas. His h-index is 36/30 by Google-Scholar/Scopus. Dr. Chang is in the Scientific Advisory Board of International AD/PD Symposium, Scientific Review Committee, Alzheimer Association. He is the handling associate editor in Journal of Alzheimers Disease, and Section Chief Editor for Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology. He is also a member of editorial board of more than 20 different journals. He is also a grant reviewer for many different grant agencies/foundations.
