I graduated The Bucharest Faculty of Medicine, MD in 1985 and in 1986 I emigrated in Israel.I am Senior Psychiatrist since 1995. Actually I am the Head of a Psychiatric Ward in Shaar Menashe Mental Health Hospital, Israel and an Associated Senior Lecturer at The Technion Faculty of Medicine in Haifa. I am interested in clinical psychiatry, research and practice. I look for markers of subtypes in schizophrenia, affective disorders, PTSD, alcohol. I studied serum prolactin, estradiol, and creatine kinase of unmedicated/ medicated first episode or recurrent inpatients. The results were published in different journals. I am reviewer in Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica, Progress in Neuropsychopharmacology and Biological Psychiatry, CNS Neuroscience and Therapeutics, Addiction Biology, Life Sciences, etc. Actual interests: PPI-SR in schizophrenia, cognitive evaluations in PTSD, Medical Cannabis in PTSD treatment. In 2014: I published a book of twenty five short stories, the fruit of 25 years in psychiatry: The Psychiatrists of Phoenix Street.
