Filipa Novais studied Medicine at the University of Lisbon and graduated in 2009. She did her residency at the Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon and became a specialist in Psychiatry in 2017. She is a PhD student since 2016 and Assistant Lecturer since 2012 at the University of Lisbon. Filipa Novais has published 5 articles, participated in 2 book chapters and made 29 oral and poster presentations.
Research interests include Psychopathology, Old Age Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Addiction Disorders and Psychopharmacology.
