Biography

Dr. Jain received his Masters degree from Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University, Sagar, India in 2007. He received PhD degree from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar, India in 2014. Dr. Jain is mainly interested in developing novel formulations, nanomedicines and vaccines for the therapeutic management of life threatening diseases. Dr. Jain is a recipient of some prestigious awards at national and international level including Biomedical Engineering Innovation and Career Development Award, Lipid Based Drug Delivery Graduate Student Award, Most Innovative PhD Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nagai Foundation Tokyo Travel Award. Dr. Jain has about 7 years of research experience in formulations and drug delivery using novel drug delivery systems and published more than 20 international publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Jain has also served as the peer reviewer in various reputed scientific journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials, International Journal of Nanomedicine, AAPS PharmSciTech, Journal of Crystal Growth, Drug Discovery Today, Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, Artificial Cells, Nanomedicine and Biotechnology, Current Medicinal Chemistry, Current Pharmaceutical Design and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. Dr. Jain is also serving as the ?consulting editor? in the International Journal of Nanomedicine and as the ?associate editor? in the American Journal of Drug Delivery and Therapeutics. Dr. Jain is presently working as Post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, USA.
