  Prevalence of Pneumonia and Its Associated Factors among under Five Years Old Children at Tertiary Hospital in Mogadishu Somalia

  Introduction: Pneumonia remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among children under five years old. Despite advancements in medical science, the disease remains a significant public health concern particularly in developing countries. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of pneumonia and its associated factors among under-five children at a tertiary hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia, to contribute to the formulation of effective intervention strategies. Methods: A hospital-based, descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted between February and June 2024. A sample size of 384 children was determined using the Cochran formula.
