    Empirical Analysis of Medical Social Support in Dealing with COVID-19: A Communication-Based Approach

    The present study examines the implementation of a communication-based approach in the empirical analysis of medical social support for individuals managing COVID-19. It employs Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine data obtained from frontline health workers in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. The study population comprised all strata of health workers in Nigeria, using a multistage and simple random sampling technique to select 500 respondents (health workers) across each of the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria. Data were retrieved through a questionnaire designed with a 5-point Likert scale to gather responses from the selected health workers.
