Aim and Scope

Journal of Alzheimers & Dementia offers an open access, multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed, international forum for researchers, physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, home and assisted living administrators, and other healthcare professionals who affect patients with dementias a day. It publishes original research, case studies and media reviews on all aspects of Alzheimer's and dementia, including basic research, behavior management, caregiving, communication strategies, evaluation, heredity, long-term care.

The journal's main aim to bridge knowledge gaps separating traditional fields of dementia research by covering the whole spectrum from basic science to clinical trials and social and behavioral investigations, providing a forum for rapid communication of latest findings and concepts , disseminating knowledge necessary for optimal translation of research findings into application and interventions, increasing knowledge in diverse disciplines to market early detection, diagnosis and/or interventions, identifying promising new directions of research, providing the scientific impetus for brand spanking new initiatives.
