Dr. William G. North was born in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. Education: B.Sc.: Australian National University, Canberra, 1964. Chemistry and zoology. M.S.(equiv.): University of Melbourne, 1966. Comparative Physiology. Estimations of catecholamines in vertebrate tissues. Ph.D: Departments of Biochemistry and of Physiology, University of Queensland,Brisbane, 1973 Postdoctoral Training And Faculty Appointments: Visiting Research Associate with Dr. Roderich Walter, Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City.
