Larry V. Lapanashvili studied medicine in 1969-1975 first in Riga (Latvia) and then in Tbilisi (Georgia) State Medical Universities. His MD?s practical work started in province as General Surgery and then grew up to Thoracic Surgery and later - Cardiovascular Surgery. In 1980 he began scientific career in Antelava Thoracic Surgery Research Unit of Physicians Postgraduate State Institution (Tbilisi, GE) and his main research was dedicated to Bio- Mechanical Assisted Circulation. First he started with investigation of invasive ways at Bakoulev Cardiovascular Center (Moscow, RU), which was completed as PhD thesis in 1989. For this explore he received A.Carrel Award from Italian Cardiosurgeon?s Association (Rome, 1991). Nowadays, he finished with surgery and is developing portable noninvasive cardio-assisted technologies and telemedicine. He has 9 patent granted innovations and published more than 50 papers in reputed Journals. He is the fellow of International College of Angiology, referee of several International Journals and member of number National and International Organizations
