Biography

Dr. Gholami received her certificate in Periodontics and M.S. in Craniofacial Biology from Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry (NSU), where she was well trained in all aspect of Advanced Periodontics and Surgical Implantology. Before joining NSU, she earned a Post-Doctoral Fellowship Certificate in Advanced Periodontal Surgeries and Implantology from University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Gholami also completed another M.S. in Periodontics and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in Tehran, Iran. She actively has been engaged in teaching, practice and research in Advanced Periodontics since 2006. Dr. Gholami has published and presented her research results in multiple conferences both nationally and internationally and has served as a reviewer for several journals in her professional society. Dr. Gholami is board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery and taking care of her patients at faculty specialty practice at UIC College of Dentistry Department of Periodontics.
