Dr. Norhan Khairy Abd El-Aziz

Biography

Norhan K Abd El-Aziz, Assistant Professor of Microbiology and a General Coordinator for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt. She obtained the MVSc (2008) and PhD (2011) degrees in Microbiology specialized in anaerobic microorganisms and Mycoplasmas at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University. She teaches theoretical and practical courses in general and special bacteriology, advanced mycology, basic and clinical immunology and molecular biology. She is a supervisor on 30 post graduate students enrolled for PhD and MVSc in bacteriology, mycology and immunology topics. She participated in several international conferences, symposia, training courses and workshops obtaining good experience in web-based high-throughput Primer Design, Practical PCR, Gene Expression, Alternative Medicine, Contig Assembly DNA Sequencing, Sequence Analysis and Bioinformatics. She served as a reviewer and an Editorial Board member for several peer reviewing journals. She published many scientific papers in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Gene expression and Alternative Medicine in many scientific journals assigned high impact factors.
