was born and raised in Singapore and attended top schools, for seven years under the nationwide Gifted Education Program. In medical school, psychiatry stood out as the specialty that I had the most affinity with. I began my specialist training in 2004 and become a consultant in 2013. Along the way, I have fulfilled various leadership roles and contributed actively to medical education. Other than practicing as a psychiatrist with special interests in perinatal and mood disorders, I have developed a deep interest in research, and have published papers, presented at international conferences and am leading a funded study as principal investigator.
