Biography

Cynthia Marie Claire is a senior researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and currently work in the laboratory of ?Response Variability to Psychotropics (INSERM UMR-s 1144) located at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University Paris Descartes in Paris. Claire co-directing the research team Biomarkers of relapse and response to treatments in addiction and mood disorders» with Pr. Frank BELLIVIER MD, Ph.D. Our team consists of clinicians and fundamental researcher that work in close relationship. Treatment response variability and relapse prediction are major scientific questions and major issues for the development of personalized medicine. We have decided to explore these scientific questions in two related clinical situations: addictions and bipolar disorders.

Research Interest

Research interest focuses on the molecular mechanisms that underlie the variability of psychotropic drugs response and relapse prediction, in addictions and bipolar disorders.
