Biography

Doctor Alex Pontini born in Schio, Italy in 1981. After humanities studies he started his studies in Medicine at Padova University, winning multiple studies grants. He get his Medicine degree with maximum evaluation and then he started the residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the same University as first classified at the admission exam. He become specialist in Plastic Surgery with maximum evaluation and after that he was the first classified to the admission exam on PhD school in Biomedicine at Padova University with particular curricula on Regenerative Medicine. He is attending the second year. The most relevant scientific interest of Doctor Alex Pontini are focus on tissue engineering with particular attention on experimental microsurgery, vascular, muscle and nerve replacement. He get several pubblication in such field as also book chapter both in Italian than in English. He teaches on Hand Surgery and Suture technique at Padova University and he is the founder of the scientific board of the Novamedh society, that are a private company interested in the field of Plastic Surgery, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and Healthcare.
