Abstract

Carotid aneurysms are very rare accounting for less than 3.5% of all aneurysms and repair of this entity comprises only 0.7% of all carotid procedures at major referral centers points. Stroke is the most frequent complication and the possibility of rupture is only happens rarely and considered. Rupture of a non-traumatic, uninfected carotid aneurysm is an exceedingly rare procedure with only a full of cases written in the world literature most of which represented as an acute, life-threatening emergency. This report documents the highly unusual circumstance of sub-acute presentation of a ruptured carotid aneurysm.

The most common thing in the coronary artery is bifurcation and in the extra cranial nerves carotid system is a true aneurysm, it is most frequently used. The portion of the carotid artery wall is weakens it is only caused by an aneurysm bulging and ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel. The aneurysm is expands like a balloon and the progressively thinner the artery wall grows. The probability of increasing aneurysm bursts. Aorta other than the peripheral aneurysms affects the arteries such as coronary artery in the neck regions. At the portion of coronary artery is located at an extra cranial carotid artery system aneurysm. The treatment roles are to reduce the symptoms and reduce the complications in the risk conditions. Symptoms of the coronary artery aneurysms may lead transitory ischemic attacks or stroke.

In addition the carotid artery system aneurysms may forms clot that blocks the blood to the brain. Other systems can occur sometimes to pressure of the aneurysm on surrounding structures such as veins and nerves. In some rare conditions the coronary artery aneurysms can rupture or burst and it leads to a life threatening condition. It is important to discuss the potential benefits, side effects and risks with your healthcare provider, so choose the precaution before going to conduct the treatment. If the patient has high blood pressure, then the consultant doctor may suggest blood pressure medication to lower the blood pressure levels and the pressure on the weekend area of blood vessels and the aneurysm. Other than the treatment the physician may suggest a cholesterol lowering blood pressure to maintain the health of blood vessels.

The medication or treatment types are below Surgical Repair, Endovascular Stent Grafting, Surgery for aorta, Vascular Surgery Services, Carotid Artery Diseases, Peripheral Artery Diseases, Abdominal Artery Diseases, Venous Disease, Inferior Vena Cava. In some cases the severe Carotid Artery Aneurysms remains undetected.

The screening of the patient may help to identify the people who need to identify for the treatment. The US Preventive Services Task Force used to identify the ultrasound scanning of the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm in the older men aged 60 to 70 years. It affects the people who have smoked more than 100 cigarettes or more in their lives. Smoking, blood pressure, obesity, maintains good diet. Anyone diagnosed with an aneurysm and prescribed a conservative treatment plan can work with a healthcare practitioner to address any risk factors.
