Dr. Zhang is currently an Associate Professor at College of Information Science and Technology in Shanghai Ocean University. She received her PhD in 2010 from Shanghai University, MS in 2006 from the University of Abertay, Dundee (UK) and BS from Jiangxi Normal University. Dr. Zhang?s main research trust is focused on computational mechanics, numerical modeling, nanocomposite and ocean engineering. Her research areas are on theoretical development and application of numerical algorithms and computational methods for problems in mechanics, mathematics and bioscience. Dr. Zhang has published over 60 SCI journal articles and her publications have been cited over 1300 times (Google Scholar) or over 900 (ISI). Her current h-index is 16 (ISI). Her i10-index is 31. To date, she has 14 publications being listed as ESI highly cited papers and 1 publication being listed as ESI hot paper.
