Dr. Biaoyang Lin is a Professor and Chief Scientist at Zhejiang California International Nanosystems Institute, Zhejiang Univ. China, and an affiliated associate professor at Univ. of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA. Dr. Lin obtained a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from UBC, Canada, in 1995. He received a Humboldt fellowship in Germany, 1996. He published over 90 papers in PNAS, Science, Nature, New Eng. J. Medicine, Cancer Research, Molecular and Cellular Proteomics, and PLoS Genetics etc. They were cited over 5500 times including nine that were cited over 100 times per paper. He received six US patents. He is an associate editor for OMICS: A Journal of Integrative Biology. His research interests include biomarker discovery and application, systems biology, bioinformatics, genomics and proteomics, and he also has an interest in commercializing the discoveries.
