Allen F. Anderson, Ph.D. is a Professor Emeritus at Indiana University South Bend, Indiana, USA. With backgrounds in public health and public law, he has researched HIV attitudes and behaviors in the Peoples Republic of China for twenty years. During this time, he worked in consultation with non-governmental organizations and Ministry of Public Health officials across China. He and his colleagues researched the spread of HIV/AIDS within the migrant, intravenous drug user, prisoner, sex trade, and deaf populations. He also participated in a study that assessed HAART therapy in a resource deprived setting. He and his wife now live in Balsam, North Carolina.
