Biography

Professor Chih-Chang Chu received his Ph.D from Florida State University, Dept. of Chemistry, Polymer Science in 1976 and B.S from Tamkang University, Dept. of Chemistry in 1968.currently he is working as a professor in Biomedical Engineering Program, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.He worked as a professor in the Department of Fiber Science and Apparel Design,Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. He is also worked as a guest professor in Chang-Chun Institute of Applied Chemistry,Chinese Academy of Science, Chang-Chun City, China and assistant professor in the Department of Textiles and Apparel, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. He is a member of Editorial Board of The Open Biomaterial Journal,The Open Material Science Journal, Journal of Bioengineering and Biomedical Science, The Journal of Bioengineering and Informatics Sci. He received American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, College of Fellow in March 2014; State University of New York Chancellorââ

polymeric biomaterials for human body reconstruction and repair, particularly in wound healing, wound closure, tissue engineering/regeneration, drug delivery, etc.
