Smart Cities Security: Systematic Review

As cities become smart that are increasingly digitalized and interconnected, the need for robust cyber security measures in urban environments becomes more pressing. This systematic review aims to evaluate the current state of research on smart city cyber security, with a specific focus on the challenges and solutions related to protecting critical infrastructure, personal data, and public safety. The review analyzes 80 review articles were analyzed to gather relevant information on the research topic. However, after applying the exclusion criteria, the number of review articles was reduced to 26 studies from various disciplines, including computer science, engineering, and policy, to identify common themes and gaps in the literature.
