Dear Sir,
The case reported by us [1] and the cases reported so far in the literature [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] had a favorable outcome following definitive surgery. However, the case presented by Saif et al. [10] suggests that risk categorization in gastrointestinal stromal tumors of the pancreas is inherent to the tumor and is not site dependent. In the future, new cases with long-term follow-ups will hopefully give a definitive answer.
