Head injury in a pediatrics case evokes a delicate balance of avoiding gratuitous radiation while not missing a clinically significant brain injury. The PECARN trial revolutionized the approach to children with head injuries by furnishing clinical guidelines grounded on thousands of patient hassles in pediatrics cases and stratifying the cases into low-and highthreat orders.
