Street dogs, also known as stray dogs, are an inseparable part of urban landscapes across the globe. They roam the streets, parks, and alleys, often scavenging for food and seeking shelter in abandoned buildings or makeshift nests. While some view them as a nuisance or a threat, others recognize their plight and feel a sense of responsibility towards their welfare. In this comprehensive guide, we will delve into various aspects of street dog care, covering topics ranging from feeding and medical attention to community involvement and adoption initiatives. Before delving into the specifics of street dog care, it’s crucial to understand the challenges these animals face on a daily basis: Street dogs often struggle to find adequate food and clean water. They rely on scavenging, begging, or the generosity of passersby for sustenance. Shelter is another basic necessity for street dogs. They seek refuge in abandoned buildings, under bridges, or in makeshift shelters to protect themselves from harsh weather conditions.
