DNA repair protein LEDGF necessary for proteasomal degradation of signalling molecules: Lens epithelium derived growth factor (LEDGF), is known to be overexpressed in different solid cancers and cancer cell lines but is also involved in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and diverse inflammatory diseases.
