Abstract

Boundary conditions in the ginzburg landau formulation in superconductivity

The linearized gap equation is the basis for the microscopic derivation of the second order terms in the Ginzburg-landau free energy expansion. However, close to the boundary these second order terms do not have the same form, since the kernel is changed due to quasi-particle scattering.
