Acoustocerebrography (ACG): It is a unique, non-invasivetranscranial measurement utilizing ultrasound spectroscopy, based on molecular acoustic research. The ACGtechnology is founded on the measurement of variousparameters calculated by analyzing the ultrasound pulsestransmitted though the human skull. There are differentparameters wich are relevant to detect changes withinthe brain tissue: - Absorption coefficient - Frequency dependentattenuation - Speed of sound - Tissue elasticityThe purpose of the UltraEasy device is to identify potentialpathological changes in the brain and is suitable foradult patients age of 18 and older in medical and clinicalsettings. As a non-invasive and fast (5min) procedure itis gentle for the patient and repeatable as required. Tomonitor the efficiency of lyse drugs used with stoke patientsor to see possible bleedings after an operation, foran example. Nowadays research is fokussed on collectingdata of regular probands to compare the outcome withassured pathological cases to envolve the KI in the deviceconstantly. ACG is goinig to be an efficent, easy-to-use,cost reducing addition for the medical device industry
