Emergency resuscitation represents one of the most demanding situations in clinical care, where rapid decisions and coordinated actions determine patient outcomes within a very limited time frame. In such critical moments, healthcare professionals rely on structured protocols, clinical judgment and effective teamwork to restore vital functions. The urgency of the situation requires immediate recognition of life threatening conditions such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure or severe trauma. Each second carries significance and the ability to act without delay often influences the course of recovery. The initial response during resuscitation begins with a quick assessment of airway, breathing and circulation. Ensuring a clear airway is essential to allow oxygen to reach the lungs. If breathing is absent or inadequate, assisted ventilation is initiated using appropriate methods. Circulatory status is evaluated through pulse checks and observation of perfusion. In the absence of a pulse, chest compressions are started promptly to maintain blood flow to vital organs. These actions must be performed with precision and consistency to maximize effectiveness.

Medication administration is often required during resuscitation to support cardiac function and improve circulation. Drugs are selected based on the patient’s condition and response to initial interventions. Timely delivery of medications, along with continuous monitoring, allows adjustments to be made as needed. Intravenous or intraosseous access is established quickly to ensure that medications can be delivered without delay. Continuous monitoring of the patient’s condition is essential throughout the process. Observing changes in heart rhythm, oxygen levels and other vital signs provides valuable information about the effectiveness of interventions.
