Abstract

Case report of septic shock in neonate

Ivan Barrera Martinez

Objective ; management of neonatal septic shock with levosimendan

Case report of septic shock managed with levosimendan in two newborns with septic shock.Neonatal septic shock is translated as a hemodynamic alteration with heart failure due to the effect of proinflammatory drugs such as TFNa, which conditions alterations in cardiac inotropism and conditions heart failure. Levosimendan management in neonates with shock improves cardiac output and Hemodiamic reperfusion without oxygen consumption. but there is still a lack of evidence on the doses and safety of handling levosimendan in newborns with shock
